argh! I’ve gotten on someone’s happy list, and they are spamming the heck out of my comments. Take it to Hawaii, they love it there, jerks! But anyway, I’m trying to figure out a solution. One is to have a little image with some text in it, and then you, the commenter would need to type that text into a field, like a password, but public, just something the spambots can’t replicate. I’ll be devoting blogging time to clearing out the cruft and implementing a solution soon.

I had never gotten blog spam before yesterday...oh, maybe a few here and there, but holy crap, this is frickin outrageous. I've gotten two complimenting this post already, which, whilie I appreciated the irony, was just too much.

Check out amptoons.com/blog. They had that a couple of weeks ago and, while I forget how they dealt with it, they did come up with something that stopped it and was fairly transparent. Sorry I can't give you more something more specific, I just sort of faintly remember reading the thread about it.
