NaNoReMo

In response to NaNoWriMo, an event in which you write a novel in a month, Defective Yeti came up with NaNoReMo (same but read a novel in a month). The event starts today, and the book is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. I just picked mine up at Powell’s and have read a whopping 2 pages (~15/day is the target).

So I’ll be reading along and writing my ficlets.

    Good deal! I just joined NaNoWriMo, but NaNoReMo sounds a lot easier…maybe I should switch…I’ve been meaning to read Catch-22 anyway.

    Darn, I’m already a day behind. Plus, I just started a new novel yesterday. I think I’ll work on that instead. Enjoy the read.

    I have tried book clubs before and always get behind. Right now I am in a long distance slow as hell book club and I think I am in the lead with reaching chapter 3 after 2 weeks. We are reading East of Eden though so at this rate I will be done next summer…
